Binani Air has announced that ticket sales for its services will officially commence at 12 noon on Monday, May 4, 2026, ahead of its inaugural flight scheduled for May 10.
The development was disclosed in a statement issued by the airline’s Head of Corporate Communications, Arit Effanga, who described the move as a significant milestone in the airline’s transition from planning to full commercial operations.
Effanga stated that the opening of ticket sales signals the airline’s readiness to begin operations and receive its first set of passengers, marking a critical step in its entry into Nigeria’s aviation sector.
Commenting on the development, the Chief Executive Officer of the airline, Aminatu Dahiru Chiroma, said the commencement of ticket sales represents a defining moment for the company and its vision for the industry.
“Opening our ticket sales is a defining moment for us. It is the point at which our commitment becomes real for the travelling public. From this moment, we are not just preparing to fly—we are preparing to serve,” Chiroma said.
According to the statement, the airline is built on core principles of reliability, safety, and respect for passengers’ time, with a focus on delivering consistent and disciplined operations in a sector where trust remains a key concern.
The airline added that passengers should expect a seamless booking process, responsive customer engagement, and a service culture designed to ensure comfort and professionalism from the first point of interaction.
As preparations intensify for its inaugural flight, the airline called on travellers, corporate partners, and stakeholders to be part of its launch, expressing confidence that its operations will help reshape expectations and restore confidence in the country’s aviation industry.
Ticket bookings will be available via the airline’s official website and authorized travel partners from the announced date.
